I am a qualified primary school teacher with 14 years of classroom experience and a qualified Level 3 Forest School Leader. During my time in education, I have seen a growing need for approaches that support children’s mental health and emotional wellbeing alongside academic learning.

Wild Woods Forest School provides an alternative environment where children can succeed on their own terms. My sessions are particularly effective for children who struggle with the structure and pressures of the classroom, offering them opportunities to build confidence, resilience, independence, and teamwork through meaningful outdoor experiences.

Children are encouraged to take ownership of their learning, solve problems collaboratively, and develop a positive sense of self. These experiences lead to increased self-esteem, improved engagement, and improved attendance and reintegration into school life.

I offer after-school clubs, small group interventions, and curriculum-linked Forest School days, designed to complement school priorities while placing wellbeing at the heart of learning.
